Slow Cooker Jambalaya

1 lb skinless chicken breast halves -cut into 1 inch cubes and browned

1 lb sausage of your choice cut into 1 inch pieces and browned

1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice

1 large onion, chopped

1 large green or red bell pepper, chopped

1 cup chopped celery

1 cup chicken broth 

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons dried parsley

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 lb frozen cooked shrimp without tails

1.Put everything but the shrimp into a crockpot. 

2.Cover and cook on high for 1 hour and then lower heat and cook six hours on  low. Add shrimp the last 45 min of cooking time.

3. Serve over rice.
